I saw this one at the shop and had to get my hands on it.

not at all. i rinse with super hot water through it before using sea salt and alcohol through the top and the bottom.

i turn the pipe upside down, salt and alcohol goes in the perc.

i then run hot water to rinse out as much as possible. you will need to blow from the top to get all the water out from the bottom of the percs

I wouldn't recommend using either hot or cold water in a tube, thats the easiest way to shatter glass.

Nice pick up on the mobius though, such a nice tube we deserve a milk shot!

cold water is fine, boiling hot is not. it's really the temperature change you have to watch out for.

Yea I clean my glass with hot water (like about as hot as I can take it with it running over my hand) all the time just make sure to let it cool for a few minutes before you fill it up with cold water. I don't think hot water in itself is bad for glass, is it? (I've certainly never broken anything with hot water and I've been buying glass for years).

I once took a glass straight out the dishwasher and filled it up with cold water and when I picked it up off the table the top half came right off. So yea change will fuck you.




And as for this mobius tube I remember when the guy who made em posted em up on here! Always wanted to see a milk with that crazy perc

The Nano by Mobius is awesome! I've hit and owned my fair share of glass. This thing is one of the better bongs I've come across. I was so tired of all the tall bongs. 2 footers seem to be EVERYWHERE. I'm 6'5" so I have no trouble hitting any of these, but keeping them vertical is so tedious.

This thing is easy to keep vertical. The percolator has 13 slits, all wide enough to pass most chunks of ash through as well as epsome salt. The perc has no joints so the resin doesn't build up in any nooks or crannies.

Its easy to clean too, a wooden chopstick n rubbing alcohol is all you need to clean the down stem and bowl piece.
Sturdy compared to my beaker bottom PURE. When I put the PURE on tile it usually on accident, because it makes a sound that’s high pitched denoting thin glass. This produces a little more of a thunk. It’s 5mm.

Its wize to dump out the ash through the hole where the down stem goes (I forget the term please remind) rather than through the perc.
As a born and raised Californian its pretty neat to have a piece that is made in the same state as myself, and it has the brand right on the ass to prove it.

Zero Drag Perc
tube inside of tube inside of tube inside of tube, narrowest tube component of perc is same id as downstem, as to not create a point of congestion. Similar in concept to armed trees without the surface area friction added by multiple arms. Slits only in the back of perc, allowing effective filtration while sitting holding tube.

Fuck man I want a Mobius piece sooo bad but they don't sell online.

I feel like i would be a lot less happy owning a piece if it had a fat etching of a state i wasn't from on it, but i'm picky

I just heard about Mobius today from a friend who collects glass. They just said they liked the stuff, and the only Mobius stuff I saw before hearing about them was worked glass, which I'm not interested in.

Then I see this thread and it's clear, straight tubes. Then I notice they're made in Cali, which is the state I'm proud to claim as my homestate. I know that one of my LHS' loves to carry stuff local blown pieces as well as the standard high end brands, and china glass. I'm hoping they carry Mobius the next time I go in because I really wanna see these in person.
