Homemade Bowl and Slide... Too Small? <PICS>

I have a homemade slide that i use in quick making bongs and on my predrilled little bubbler. I just put the slide into it and its ready. I have a question though:
1. The socket i use on the bowl is fairly small, i can only get about 3-4-5 hits on it, then i have to refill it up, is this common to have small bowls because i am normally seeing very big bowls that holds alot of hherbb.
2. What are the advantages/ disadvantages to having these small bowls?.. i am wondering how hard it would be to make another with a bigger socket (using headphone thingy as a screen.. working well!)


Just let me know your experiences with bowls etc.! it a pic is needed i can get on up .. but it might be a hastle (camera phone(2 mp)).

hahaha dude come on. Dont use iPod headphone screens, your inhaling fumes from the finish. get a ride to the hardware store and get some un-galvonized screens so your not inhaling fumes anymore! the only advantage to a small bowl is that you cant pack to much in
