Bubble hash water as bongwater?

Hey everyone, i have some questions about the project im working on.

This Wednesday happens to be the 2nd year anaversary of the first time me and a good friend got high (i have a good memory i know) And neither of us have ever smoked wax or hash, so i figured what a better time? Im comfortable making edibles and such, so i figured id give hash a go.

I froze about 3 grams (i just wanted a really small batch) of grinded up quality bud for about an hour. then i churned it in a pot with alot of icewater for about 20 minutes. i filtered out the weed and was left with a nice, yellowish cloudy liquid. thats what your supposed to get right?

So i poured the liquid through a coffee filter hoping to get a really small amount of bubble hash to mess around with. but after the liquid came through, there was nothing in the filter! i dont know if i didnt use enough, or if i didnt stir it for long enough, so im just stuck with some yellow cloudy liquid.

Im guessing you could drink it, but id rather not, so my real question is:

HAS ANYONE ever tried using bubble hash icewater; as BONGWATER??

im just guessing that it would enhance smoking normal weed, even if its just a little. i mean, theres THC in the water, so i dont see why not. ive heard alot of wives tales about various liquids getting people higher, so im going to give it a go for sure, i just want to know if anyone else has done this.

No. That's a waste. You will not get higher. Let the water evaporate. You will be left the hash, but it will be a long process as your separation method was Mediocre at best. Leave it in a Pyrex baking sheet in a hot area. Next time do more research/have the right tools.

I have the research done, its just the tools for bubble hash are very expensive, i just followed a guide for making hash with household items. Obviously it was a poor choice

I understand. It's just without the correct tools, it's a fruitless effort. You should of tried iso or butane hash. The tools are much cheaper and more accessible than bubble bags. But you have what you have, I want you to make the best of it. I would let the hash-water sit in a cup for a few hours and let the hash settle to the bottom, then turkey bastet the water off the top soo you don't have to wait soo long for it to evaporate. Yeah there are easy ways to make bubble hash at home much cheaper than isopropanol or butane.

pretty sure iso hash is the cheapest you can possibly get. Bubble hash is more of a process. You'd definitely be better off running an 8th or a quarter as bho or some iso hash. Bho yields better results in my opinion.

I agree, ive been looking at bho for a while trying to get the proper technique, but it seems that the majority of people say that if you dont vacuum purge your BHO its not safe/good, and the vacuums are expensive.

Since i dont grow my own and i live in california, im contemplating the risk-to-reward ratio in buying all the stuff to make BHO or just buying a gram of it from a dealer. I can get shake for like 30-60$ an ounce depending on how frosty it is, and use that, im wondering if an ounce of shake would yield me about a gram of BHO, since a gram of BHO costs about 40-50$ so itd be basically the same

An ounce of shake could yield you 3 grams easy, but I am a very experienced hash man and the person who said BHO gets a better return is silly. Isopropanol extracts more plant matter because it's way more soluble in liquid iso than super critical isobutane but it depends on starting material. If I ran a quarter of dank buds for BHO I could get about 1 to 3 grams or if I ran it through vacuum liquid isopropanol of get at least 3.5. It depends on your particular method. You can whip BHO in a hot water bath to purge with natural sunlight or you could goto auto zone and get a mighty vac for 35 bucks.

You live in cali and dont have a card wtf? And you don't HAVE to vac purge its just preferred
