Life Itself

In the world as we know it what is the purpose of life? We live and we die. Along the way we are put into situations that sometimes decide our future, and what kind of life we are to live.
The thought of this is just akward. To think that one bad decision can change how I live out my life. Can this one decision change my entire lifes layout, can I do anything to counteract it and change what is to come for me?
What is the purpose of life? Am I going to help make this world a better place, or will I bring damage to others lives and futures? It's hard to think that you can make a change, sometimes for the bad in other peoples lives based on a bad decision. You could make life harder on your current, and soon to come family members, or other families that you don't know.
End Rambling Thought

ive pondered the same thoughts many times man. many many times.
it all boils down to what i would call the butterfly effect. one small decision, maybe a mistake, that you make 5 minutes from now can reshape your life/future/destiny a few years down the road.
an example.
you met a kid in 2nd grade. you talked shit to him, put him down, and basically made his life a living hell all the way through 5th grade. those memories are deeply embedded in him. say, 20 years later, those thoughts might not be completely conscious, but somewhere along the line, subconsciously, you can alter his perception and actions over time. what if, for instance, he finally snapped and killed someone due to these repressed feelings and emotions. the person he killed, 10 years later, was going to have a child, that would have a child, that would have a child that would end all suffering in the world. no more hunger, no more homelessness, etc.
your actions, over time, can have grave consequences.
every choice you make today can be a seed for global change in the future.
if that isnt a total mindfuck, i dont know what is.Posted 09-27-2008 at 09:42 PM by MPower420

I have been on this Planet for 54 years and will try to sum up what I have come to realize. If we go with the " Bible" The very first point that I ran into was, GOD was all there was in the beginning. By God, I mean " the Thing itself. So...... Out of itself everything was made which meand God + 0=God. Now.... That makes some people very uncomfortabvle because what this means is, we are here as creators. Someone asked one time, " So, I create Earthquakes? " NO.... BUT you choose to be in the area they occur thus you choose to make that part ofyour experance. You can gain more info by watching " What The Bleep Do We Know and The Secret, both very good movies. We must decide and Be the Change that we want to see in the world.
