If you plan on just gworing a few plants for personal use in a cupboard then i would recomend something like a 400W High pressure sodium light. If you have more money you can get different lights for veg/floewring stages but im too budget so i don't. If you cant get this then i'm using a 100w lightbulb right now, but not with much success even though i will get some yield from it. As for seeds goto www.yahooka.com and follow links there to seed banks. Germinate them in damp tissue til they root a little bit then plant .05 cm bellow soil. You will need to repot it after a week or so so it is deeper so the stem doesnt flop everywhere
