I am going to take advantage of the blog feature here at Grass City. I am doing this for you GC. I love it here and I think that my fellow blades are some pretty cool stoners and stonerettes. You can always expect a few things at my blog like my opinion and experiences with different strains of cannabis. Another thing is comedy. I love getting stoned and laughing my ass off to something about Mary Jane. I love her with all my heart.

OG Kush - Revisited
So as many of you probably know, I did a blaze report on OG Kush a few months ago that was less than flattering for a classic such as OG Kush. My last batch of OG Kush, to be honest, left me with a great feeling of disappointment as my previous experiences with OG Kush were much different in terms of buzz quality and overall satisfaction. I won't drop names but that particular co-op has only so so medicine in my opinion but they have nice bud every now and then. So recently I've been noticing some OG Kush going around Santa Cruz and thought I would pick up an eighth and have another go at a blaze report. I did have to get over the absolutely ridiculous price of $66 dollars an eighth
. By far the most expensive green I have ever purchased in my life. But you only live once and some good OG sounds good right about now.
At first glance the bag appeal was far superior than my last pickup. Nice trichome accumulation on semi dense buds with a hashy and sweet aroma pleasantly filled my senses as I proceeded to roll up a joint. At first puff I was greeted with a heavy lemony and citrus flavor that was reminicient of Sour Diesel. Along with the great flavor this batch of OG Kush tasted just as good from the beginning of the joint to the end. I would also like to note that the lung expansion factor for OG Kush was intense. I found myself choking after toking in a very good way. I was feeling a nice buzz about 3/4 down the joint and was delighted with a cerebral and soaring high. Surprising for an indica dominant hybrid but a nice buzz that was similar to GDP, another indica dominant hybrid. This is a great indica for sativa high lovers such as myself. The buzz longevity was good with no couchy after affects were noted.
I was glad to give OG Kush another go since I am convinced that my last batch of it was complete shit. It just goes to show how diverse the end product of marijuana can be. Good genetics in the right hands will produce elite cannabis but the same cannot be said for cannabis grown with brown thumbs haha. The only negative about this bud was the price. $66 dollars for 3.5g is ridiculous and is definitely going to be a once and a while thing for me. But something told me I wasn't going to be disappointed with this batch, mainly the price over my stoner intuition
. All in all top notch dank in my book that would please anybody, I would put money on that.

Great write up bro,I love the fact that most all strains have the potential to be unique and tasty not to mention potent if the strain has it in its genetics.

Ocitown, glad you liked the write up. If any strain has good genetics it is OG Kush. This batch made the prior one look like some bammer. This batch smoked more like a sativa than a rumored 100% indica. OG Kush is great bud. See ya round bro.
