I am going to take advantage of the blog feature here at Grass City. I am doing this for you GC. I love it here and I think that my fellow blades are some pretty cool stoners and stonerettes. You can always expect a few things at my blog like my opinion and experiences with different strains of cannabis. Another thing is comedy. I love getting stoned and laughing my ass off to something about Mary Jane. I love her with all my heart.

Blueberry - Under the counter???

So recently I learned that the co-op I usually go to has "under the counter" meds, meaning they have specials that they don't advertise and currently their under the counter special is Blueberry. Much like the OG Kush and AK-47, I haven't smoked this herb in a long time. I want to blaze some bomb that gives me those feelings of back in the day. So I figured I would get an eigth since that is the maximum ration of Blueberry per week. Okay whatever, this shit better be orgasmic if it's so called "under the counter" because the pheno going around town is supposedly to have a real bold Blueberry aroma and flavor.

This particular pheno is not purple at all, moderately covered in trichomes, and smells like mild blueberries for real. The aroma for some dank is actually quite mild. Not pungent at all like Catpiss but still had a slight hint of that dank in there. The buds are semi dense but not like some of the rocks I've seen. Okay I am pretty impressed cause it's smells the part and it's pretty frosty. I proceeded as usual and fired up the J. The buzz hit me right on time for a nice euphoric buzz. More mild than a soaring high, the high longevity was somewhat short in my opinion and I did notice it was pretty couchy. It was actually funny because somebody on another forum described the buzz of this current pheno right on target.

As far as the flavor goes, the bud definitely did taste like blueberries only with more of a slight burnt twist. Relatively fruity I would relate the taste similar to Strawberry Cough only definitely with more of a blueberry twist. I would say that the flavor is more unique than tasty in my opinion. Not a strain that tastes great from joint to roach, but great tasting medicine nonetheless. So overall I would say that the Blueberry had a great aroma, tasted pretty good, had a more of a mild to moderate buzz and was a little on the cough lock side. Somewhere in the lower/middle of the dank spectrum but I give the bud props for it's genuine Blueberry aroma and flavor.
