I know this is a pot forum witch in most cases would mean that you are a demacrat most of you don’t know most of you don’t care. Really this matters because look at where are country stands. Things are a mess but after much news watching and surfing around the internet, I feel that I have found the Man that would make the most since to this country. His name is Ron Paul. I fought it out Iraq </ST1like a mad man as 11B that’s and infantry man for all you boys out there. That means I did things that most people wouldn’t dream of ever doing. So its like this Ron is going to change this country back to the way it should be all the Dem’s are doing what they do best and that is lying like a good politician. The country is afraid of a man like this because he is for the working man and that means he is going to make the government WORK for the working man once again. So a Vet and a devout $moker that served in the U.S. Army as a killing machine I urge you to get out and spread the word about this man. If you don’t believe me just go out and do your own research! We are talking about possible legalization for a drug that is not a drug but a symbolic part of our lives so we don’t need to hide the way we are and who we are. I know now I’m going on and on but please go to the web site do something now before we have another shit head in the office.

If English is your native language, then I am appalled and would say that Ron Paul has been done a great disservice by your promoting him. I wish you would have put more consideration to your grammar, spelling, capitalization, and and most of all you should have checked for homonyms. Also it is clear that you are not well versed in politics, and I am disheartened by the fact that uneducated individuals often end up voting issues without understanding these candidates histories in politics, or even understanding the logistics of the candidates plans.

Ron Paul (god bless 'em) is absolutely the hopeless maverick of the Republican party. Both parties are liars in so much as they will take important issues and do everything possible to associate themselves with that issue. Example: The war in Iraq (more specifically pulling out) is a key issue for the Democratic party, and so Hilary and Obama both claim to be against the war now and distort their history of opposition. Obama was not in the senate to oppose authorization, but Hilary and Obama both voted for every single funding measure for the war from its start right up to the start of campaigning. Hilary in fact voted for the war in the first place, as most other senators did, despite Dennis Kucinich (Democratic equivalent of Ron Paul) sending a lengthy and detailed report to every member of congress explaining the details of why the Administration is completely wrong regarding WMD and reminding every congressperson that the Iraq and Hussein had nothing to do with 9/11.

I go on into republicans distorting their histories to convince the Republican population that they have always opposed abortion, but it is neither here nor there -- my point is simply that both sides manipulate the public.

Anyway, Ron Paul could only sign legislation legalizing marijuana and he would not do that. He is a really more of a libertarian, meaning that he adheres strictly to the constitution. Appropriately, he believes in a decentralized federal government, meaning more state power. If a state wants to ban abortion or fund abortion... it doesn't matter to him as long as that is what the state wants. The same would go for pot -- its the states decision.

Frankly, I think that Kucinich would be the best president. Ron Paul comes in second, though, at a razor of a margin. I have no problems with Ron Paul (unlike Obama, Clinton, Giuliani, Romney, McKane, and others). Kucinich, however, takes a lead in his awareness of ecological issues. We are raping our land with industrial agriculture and our government is subsidizing it with $20,000,000,000 per year. Sustainable agriculture is very important, and if you disagree you probably don't know very much about industrial agriculture or even about the antibiotics, or IGF-1 in milk. Also you probably don't know that cattle lots are unable to process the manure that accumulates from having thousands of cattle. They instead move the waste to sesspools that often overflow with flash flooding, killing dozens of miles of aquatic life in streams. Also the soil in cattle lots will not grow vegetation again for hundreds of years from the compaction of earth and the excessive nitrogen from animal waste.

Other important ecological issues exist, but I won't even go into them, b/c like the sustainable agriculture, organic agriculture, and regional food issues, they require in-depth explanations and alas, few people will read this and I haven't the time for it.

This was a huge waste of time, but I read this post and felt absolutely compelled

I know I can’t top what that guy said considering the due could probably work for a publishing company or start a business proof reading. All I am saying is Ron Paul is not your typical corporate politician. He is going to make it better in this country for us. You see you have to see it from a rich persons point of view; I have everything, but! This is why people like Hillary Clinton and The bush family have such an easy way of getting what they want… MONEY. So with that said a person like Ron is going in it for America that’s all.
