| Going for my first tatt tommorow
grasscity wattupp, tommorow at 11:30 am im going for my first ever tattoo, its a present from my mum for graduating. im getting her birthday in roman numerals on my wrist. im not scared of the pain, im expecting it to hurt like an absolute bitch. Who here has a wrist tatt? how did it feel? is there anythign i can do to sort of lessen the pain..maybe take some panadol or nurofens before hand or anything? what should i do...or just take it like a man?

I got my left wrist and my chest under my collar bone done at exactly the same time...two artists, two needles... HEAVEN! I am completely in love with the pain that goes along with being tattooed Expect odd vibrations, involuntary nerve reaction, a lot of heat and discomfort. Please dont use any drugs before you get the tattoo...the first one should be an experience. Its something that you will remember forever. Alcohol will completely ruin your ink.. I got a piece done on my back in Ireland when I was fourteen..I spent 11 hours over a case of beer and all the colors washed out... go in stone sober and then get as messed up as you want after you are all done getting inked. Dont be afraid to take breaks, and eat a good meal before if you are really worried about it. If you start getting cold sweats or the spins, let your artist know...it will be better for the both of you in the long run... Aftercare is sooo important! Please follow all directions that the artist gives you...otherwise your tattoos will look like some of mine. I am envious.. |

I heard the wrist is pretty easy. Basically, since it's your first, the pain will overwhelm for a couple mins, but then it'll set in. It's like you have a pretty big sunburn and someone is smacking it over and over. It doesn't hurt after a while just gets annoying. I got my collarbone done a few months ago, and so far that was my most painful one yet.

ive been gertting ink since i was fourteen i was lucky enough to have an uncle in the buisness. Hy most painful tat was the mudflap girl on my left hand. it takes up most of the top of my hand and it was painful as hell. The wrist aint bad though its got a nice little sting to it. my best advice is make your first one a good experience and you will either love it and get more or hate it and just leave it alone.

realy the back of you hand was you most painful? my hands didnt hurt at all- interesting how it differant for everyone- my calves hurt like hell! every place elts no so bad -
