Larry Carlson Fans: Crazy Story (my mom knows him)

So today I went over to my parents place to go help them assemble a new desk.

My mom and i started talking about art, and she is an amazing artist, i will post her work one day.

So i start talking about my love for realism and some psychedelic-like art. 10 min later, her and i are looking at the computer at various artists work that we like.

When i open the Larry Carlson page, my moms jaw drops. She says- "Larry Carlson...i think i went to art school with him." We go up into the attic, and dig out an old room assignment sheet from her art classes. Sure enough, Larry Carlson in the class.

My mom went on to tell me how amazing of an artist he was, with a natural and energetic style that she had never seen before.

Heres where this story gets crazier-

My mom goes, "you know, he gave me some sketches, and 2 canvas paintings back when we were in school together. i'll try to find them when we go visit your grandmother. (my mom's old college stuff is at my granmas)

i will definitely post pics once she gets the works

my mom just told me a funny story about her and larry carlson.

so my mom had a neighbor who was very gruff and mean, and one day she witnessed him beating a welsh corgie until it bled and could not get up on its own.

she and larry snuck into the man's backyard later that night, stole the dog, and gave it to their professor
