Ok, first and foremost - I am big into body modification. To me (and many others), body modification is an art form, which is why I am posting it here in The Artists Corner. I am fully expecting those of you who view this thread to conduct yourselves in a MATURE manner - as the body art I am going to be showing off is a genital piercing. It is not porn, erotic, or anything of the like.

So onward... This is my Apadravya... I originally had it pierced @ an 8 gauge. The pic shown was the day after I stretched it up to a 6.

Ouch! I thought they just did it on the edge...like a eyebrow piercing..ya know...pull up a flap of skin and pierce it. That looks like it goes completely through....all I can say is 'WOW'

Sticking an 8 gauge needle through any part of your body is going to hurt. It didn't hurt as bad as I thought it was going to, though... And that tends to be what I hear most frequently when I meet other people with the same piercing..

EDIT: @ imcherokeeangel - they do that for the Frenums (the skin right below the underside of the head). Mine goes completely through the center of the head, angled so the top is pointing towards me, and the bottom pointing away.

It did hurt, but not as bad as I imagined it would... And it only lasted a few seconds...

That honestly looks like it would hurt like a bitch, lol. I'm big into body mod as well, but not quite to that extent. I've got a lorum and a hafada. The lorum hurt like a bitch and took like 4 months to heal, but the hafada was nothing. Had them about 2 years now, and I'm still happy with them.

Damn dude, I would be afraid of infection with a piercing like that. The most extreme I'll go is ear gauging, I have a 1" in my left ear. I had to stop gauging my right ear because it got infected at 3/4" and closed up.

The genitalia are often the cleanest part of your body (assuming you have good hygiene). Apadravya/Ampallang piercings tend to not get infected as much, as they go through the urethra, and get a sterile bath every time you take a piss.

It makes more un-pleasant feelings and higher chance of infection?? Where'd you get that info. Mine's never given me anything but good feelings (and the ladies I've been with since have all seemed to enjoy it)... And like I said above, they get infected less often than other piercings - due to the sterile urine bath they get when you pee.

I know that with apadravya piercings, a lot of men (but not all) have to pee sitting down after since it intersects the urethra and can make it impossible to pee in a straight stream. Curiosity has got the best of me. Do you gotta pee sitting down now?

I've lost track of how many piercings I have. It's somewhere between 12-16 or something like that. Been debating getting a below the belt piercing for a bit, but I just can't make up my mind. For now I just got a microdermal put back in the sternum region for the 5th time. I used to have 2, but now just one.

I pee standing up. If I push on the top ball hard enough, I can pee straight down, lol. The only problem I get is a little extra dribble here and there. So I just sorta give it a lil extra shake... Takes care of that
