This new tattoo ink that I've been waiting MONTHS for to come out on the market just came out and I got a new tattoo with it last week. There are two main features of this ink, features that I felt were well worth waiting for:

1) If you want to get the tattoo removed, all it will take is one session with a dermatologist to erase it, as opposed to MULTIPLE sessions with old-school ink. This saves a working girl or guy a lot of money, which is important to me IF I decide to get it removed in 2015

2) There are ZERO toxic chemicals in this ink

I knew a lot of tattoo artists would whip out the "I'm not gonna use that ink 'cause like Van Gogh, I'm a friggin' artist and I never want my art removed!!!" card. I knew that because I live right around the corner from a bunch of tattoo parlors. I talk to them, and because the ink is so new and virtually unknown, I had to have the artist who worked on me order it especially for me (it's called 'Infinitink' made by Freedom-2).

So...

When I went shopping for an artist, one of 'em tried to run the tired, "I'm not gonna use that ink 'cause like Van Gogh, I'm a friggin' artist and I never want my art removed!!!" card on me. I simply told him,

"Any tattoo can be removed, even tattoos made with old school ink! So what's your point?!?!"

He had no responce to that, he just shook his head and walked away.

I'll post some pics of my new tattoo a little later when I get some time. In the meantime, I had these web pages bookmarked to my favorites for many months now, and I'll pass them for anyone who might be interested:

Sounds intriguing but wouldnt it fade faster in sunlight than regular tatttoos and what are the negative benefits of this sort of treatment, for years i've been tossing up whether to get a tattoo or not.

i'm goin tomorrow to get my first tattoo. It's for my grandpa who passed away a couple years ago. I brought in a couple different ideas and my girl works miracles so she hooked me up with a killer design. I'll post pics tomorrow.
Is there anything I should do before? I heard you are supposed to make sure you got a good amount of sugar in your system. is this true?

not really lots of sugar.
just make sure your stomach's not empty.
maybe about...4 hours prior to you getting your tattoo??

Got this baby a few days after turning 18. Prob the only one i'm gonna get, but as far as I'm concerned it's the only one I need! Although it is mighty tempting to get more....
