nice photography man.

the 2nd picture, how do you do that?
i've been looking into that type of lighting of effect, do you just use like slow shuttle speed or does it have to do with exposure times?

nice work, once again

skunk, the answer is yes. what you meant is "shutter speed", which is the same thing as how long the film is exposed, or "exposure time".
the longer the exposure, or slower the shutter speed (same thing), the more time the film is exposed to light, and the more motion is captured

for a quick snapshot of movement (think a perfect, in focus shot of a hummingbird), it'd be a fast shutter speed, or short exposure.
for blurred, extended movement (like a car speeding down a highway), it'd be a slow shutter speed, or long exposure

and evil, nice photos

were "you fail.." and "union" during total darkness? moon? streetlights? i like it

the audi desktop is definitely bitchin, and i'm not all that partial to those cars, so a definite compliment!

i thought the heart one was really cool when I read that it was camera movement, not light movement! i totally thought it was moved flashlights, but i was pleasantly surprised

i like beemers (the CORRECT spelling :P ) but i'm not a fan of that design

as for the S2000- the most interesting of your photos, i think, I like the idea
however, I think it'd look better without the wheels desaturated, and if you're gonna blur the background (looks like you added a noise filter, too?), might wanna play with some fun lighting effects or motion blurs ... sometimes fun
or take the car, isolate it and put it on a different, motion-blurred background

"You fail at parking" was done with about 3-4 streetlights in plain site, and the lighting inside of the parking complex.

"Union Station 2" was don with 2-3 street lights behind me, and the neon lighting in the sign.

I'm glad you liked the R8 desktop, I wasn't a big fan :\. Although I love the cars.

I looked around, I definitely misspelled "bimer". That is how I always remember seeing it /shrug I'll change it. Thanks for the heads-up .

The wheels were actually that color, so the desturation didn't do much to the color, I just wanted them to be blurred since the color of the wheel wouldn't "pop". I didn't add a noise filter, when I took the picture my camera battery was running low (and I was drunk) so I didn't use a flash and turned the film speed way up so I could get the right exposure.

And to 605skunk the best way I was told about exposures when I was learning how to do light designs, was this: Think of your film/digital media as a "canvas" and you are using the light to "paint" on this "canvas". The longer you have the shutter open the more paint you can put onto your canvas. Just remember though, TOO much paint = white picture, not enough paint = black image.

Thanks for the replies guys, and I am glad you enjoyed them.
