Do you? A poem.
Do you question man’s desires?
Do you question stone and fire?
What of steel, or drops of rain?
Would you question your own brain?
A common experience, is it shared bliss?
Or is it fake, a huge abyss?
Is all you see, and touch, and hear
The object of one beings’ fear
Or is it simply gods lost toys
A giant schoolyard, for girls and boys
To laugh and play, to hurt and kill
Yet somehow we are living still
Are we a just a jumble of living cells
Or energy? Is this the depths of hell
O’ answer me, if you are there
And if you’re not, should I still care
It hurts to breathe, what is this air
In fact, why do I feel despair
Do you question all you see?
Is what you see, confined to thee?
But what is sight, and what are eyes?
Reality is just a pack of lies
