Elephant

yep its an elephant. I started this two days ago after a small bit of inspiration. I have the background and water to do yet and then I'll see what kind of color treatment I should give it in photoshop later.

this was my reference photo

well bread i looked at the picture and then i drew it I did a slight sketch it pencil and then inked it.

well i learned 3ds max back when i was 15. you really don't want to hinder youself by getting a simpler modeling program. might as well start off making simple things in a complex program. Milk Shape is sorta useful to learn on though, and its free. Just remember there are ass loads of tutorials floating around the web, be prepared to read whenever you want to do something new.
