Bale: A compressed brick of marijuana, usually ranging in weight from 10 to 40 pounds.
Bifta: A cone shaped marijuana cigarette; carefully rolled.
Big Head: A big, fat, unadulterated spliff.
Blazed: High beyond belief.
Block-up: The feeling of intoxication. "I'm so block-up".
Blunt: A joint rolled in the tobacco-leaf wrapper of a Phillies Blunt cigar.
Bong: A water-cooled pipe for one smoker, often made of glass or bamboo.
Brick: A kilogram-sized slab or cube of compressed pot.
Bucket: A smoking device made from a bucket filled with water, a bottle with the base removed and the pipe end in the top.
Bud: The fresh or dried flowers of the female marijuana plant.
Buddha Stick: See Thai Stick.

Cannabis Indica: The scientific name for a species of marijuana plant, the Indian hemp plant.
Cannabis Sativa: Another species of marijuana, closely related to indica.
Cashed: A dead or finished bowl.
Chiba-Chiba: A black Brazilian form of pot, usually gummy and compressed into bricks.
Chillum: A small cone-shaped pipe made of clay.
Chronic: The hip-hop term for high-quality or potent gear.
Clips: Usually metal devices used to hold a small roach to insure no burning of the fingers.
Cocktail: A joint of weed and marijuana combined.
Colombian: The most common type of grass on the black market.

Blim Burn: When burning dope falls out of a joint onto a) Belly, b) Mousemat, c) Legs, d) Partners belly etc...
DMS: Dry Mouth Syndrome, A dry mouth after toking.
Dope: Any controlled substance, although it usually refers to heroin or marijuana; also a hip-hop term for fine or good.
Durban Brown: Marijuana from the Natal Province in South Africa.

Elbow: A pound of pot.

Froggy: A dry mouth after smoking.

Ganja: Indian and Jamaican term for pot.
Gold: Yellow pot from Acapulco in Mexico or Santa Marta Department in Colombia.
Grass: Marijuana, weed, pot, etc.

Hash/Hashish: Smoking mixture that regionally varies, generally based primarily on marijuana resin.
Hemp: Cannabis stalks and stems, especially those used to make rope, fabrics, etc.
Herb: Jamaican term for marijuana with Biblical connotations; Rastafarian sacrament.
Hogleg: A term southerners use for a large overfilled marijuana cigarette.
Hookah: A hashish water pipe with four long stems to accommodate four smokers at once. Ref: the Caterpillar in Alice In Wonderland.
Hydro: Any type of liquid grown weed.

Jaff: An elegant quickie before hitting work.
Jive: 1930s and '40s American slang for marijuana and marijuana-influenced popular music.
Joint/Jay/J: A marijuana cigarette.
Jonesin: A craving for weed.

Kief/Kif/Kaff/Khayf: Golden pollen hash from Morocco, Lebanon and other Arab/Middle Eastern nations.
Kuti: (pronounced kuth-e) - hash/dope in Pakistan.

Lambsbread: Large Jamaican buds which can be sliced like a loaf of bread and are shaped like a lamb's tail.
Lamped: Very stoned.

Marijuana: The smokable flowers and leaves of the female cannabis plant.
Maryjane/MJ: The female cannabis plant. Male plants have almost no active THC (TetraHydroCannabinol).
Mezz: Marijuana; from Mezz Mezzrow, the legendary jazzman and Harlem pot-dealer who turned on Louis Armstrong and other jazz greats during the 1930s.
Monged: Tired feeling when coming off a high.
Mullered: To be completely at peace and absolutely smashed/stoned.
Munchies: When you have an urge to eat food when are are blitzed (high/stoned).

Nuggets: Buds of rich weed.

Oil: The purified and concentrated resin from hashish or marijuana.
OZ: An ounce of pot.

Paraquat: A defoliant, toxic to humans as well as plants, that has been sprayed on marijuana throughout the world since the '70s.
Panama Red: A potent strain of pot from Panama.
Phene: Someone addicted to marijuana.
Pot: Reefer, grass, cannabis.

Reefer: Term for pot dating back to the turn of the century, and still popular.
Rizla: A popular brand of cigarette papers.
Roach: The card 'filter' of a joint.
Rope Dope: Low-quality pot from leafy hemp.

Sinsemilla: The flowering tops of seedless plants.
Sheisty: When a person does not deliver the full amount of a drug promised he is being a sheister.
Shit: Any sort of controlled substance.
Skins: Rolling papers.
Skunk: Aromatic sinsemilla, usually cultivated from the Afghani variety of marijuana.
Smoke: Pot, reefer, tea, grass, etc.
Spliff: Jamaican term for a large, ice-cream-cone-shaped joint.
Stash: (n.) A hidden cache of dope; (v.) to conceal one's dope.
Stoned: Intoxicated by a mind altering substance.

THC/Tetrahydrocannabinol: The psychoactive cannabinoid in marijuana that is responsible for the high.
Thai Stick: A delicious Thai variety of marijuana, usually wrapped around thin bamboo splints.
Thyme (Ororegano): Spices resembling marijuana in appearance, frequently used to defraud customers.
Toke: To inhale or puff from a joint.
Trees: A hip term for marijuana.
Tute: Jam jar sized pipe, sealed with water in and two tubes comming out, one small metal (for weed and baccie) other larger, for tuting on.
Twigs and Seeds: The unsmokable leftovers, or the stuff at the bottom of the bag after purchase.

Underground: The drug-using sector of society.
Use: To get high very quickly using lots of pot in one hit, inhaling as much as possible.

Vapouriser: A devise that makes THC airborne at the correct temp. No smoke, no Tar.

Weed: Pot, Smoke, Herb, etc.

Zonked: Very stoned, spaced-out, wasted, ripped, destroyed, wrecked, intoxicated.....
