I've often wondered how so many people here are able to do bud macros and whatnot so well, as if they had previous photography experience.......now we know.

Perhaps you're right, Monsieur, but after a while we expect you to forget that aspect of it.

I wasn't going to post this one, but I've been threatened with castration.

These ones are back from March, but I figured they would be a good way to bring this thread back out of page four. They're far from great, but I took them in Lake Tahoe on the slopes and I have some kind of strange attraction to them. The portraits are of my brother, who was with us at the time.

Well, I'm just tuning in to post a few macros from yesterday. We found a fairly large creek bed about two or three miles from here that we decided to take a pretty extensive hike through, so I have quite a few more shots to edit and show you guys, but I hope you can enjoy these for now.

Heh, that was my brother wearing the hat. Unfortunately for me, I have not been bestowed with such style.

Oh, and I ski for the most part... well, all of the time, really. I've never really tried snowboarding, but I've been meaning to get into it.

I agree with him, thouse Tahoe pictures are sweet. " Ski the fucking mountain " haha that made me laugh a little.

And, once again like he said, how did you get that picture of that faucet dripping water... thats probibly one of the most impressive photo's i've ever seen.

+rep for the Tahoe pics. I also have some Lake Tahoe pictures to share with the City. I went there last summer just for 1 night and somehow found some blue weed at 3 in the morning from a random group of kids driving by!!

It made my night to look at the Redwoods from ground level and they seemed like skyscrapers.
Here are some of my pics:
