Photoshop request ala Phil Lesh

Hi,
I'm working on some souvenir laminate passes for FIVE Phil Lesh and Friends shows next week. It's the closing week for the Warfield theater and they are going to have special guests each night. It's going to be sick. Anyway, I thought it would be cool to make some passes of my own, since I don't get any.

I've been working on one, but I wanted to make five different ones, one for each night. I'm running out of time and need some help.

If anyone wants to throw something together using the same text seen here that would be cool. Anything psychedelic or trippy, right? The dimensions should be 4x7" or 6x10.5" and submitted as .PSD files.

Hi, I've been working on my passes. Here's one that I made:




It looks good, but I don't know much about type or layers. If anyone thinks they can improve this, please do.

The second one looks really nice. Where did you get that original mushroom picture?

The first one is the original advertisement from the web page. The second is my pass. The mushroom picture was just something I snagged off google.

I spent most of Sunday working on the artwork and most of Monday making the laminates. This is what I came up with. It takes a lot of time and patience to make them. I did it at kinko's and they have a self use station, so I didn't have to wait for their employees to do the job.





Too bad you're not going to the shows, it's going to be a fun party.
