started with a wax duplicet of what i wanted, filled a plaster mould with the piece of wax in there, melted thee wax out, poured in the molten bronze after attachick runnoff holes and air holes also made of wax, and after 6 hours of grinding and touching up, heres my mid term project for my sculpture class.

i thnk im calling it, my hands are tied.

ohh very cool. I think I'll be doing bronze casting over the summer. Is that surface all physical finishing or did your apply a chemical patina as well?

thats 6 hours of grinding, sanding polishin, wire brushing and hammering. itwasa long LONE process to get it remotely shiny. it was blackish when it came out the mould.

and it cost me 120 dollars ( i think) just to make it.

i know,, for some reason my album for all the shit i uploaded yesterday is now fucked up
