My newest poem
"Worse"
Better to have loved and lost than to have simply lost it all better to work and build a door than try to scale a wall better to bear one noble apple than a bushel of sour limes better to learn the present ways than to stand abroad of time better to have failed by God abreast of all his glory than to have cheated fellow man to bask in sinful victory You're better off counting seconds better off in the kitchen better off in the trenches better off in this nice office chair better off doing no work at all, better off combing over your hair She's better off now, yeah she's got the right pills He's better off now better dressed for the kill They're all better off now thanks to your charity We're all better off now Let's spare us our verity
