my take on what bamboo shoulud be used for.

i took some pics of the things i have made out of bamboo recently.
i bought a book on bamboo working for a dollar from barns and noble and took it home to read... just for the hell of it.. it was only a dollar... lol
but while i was out on a nature walk smokin a joint i found a patch of bamboo just chillin there... i came back a couple hours later and cut some stalks down... these things were like 35 ft high... it was awesome...
i dont know how the hell bamboo got out there but it was there none the less and i started to make some shit...

i was thinkin about goin to venice beach ... u know on the strip out there in los angeles... i donno tho.. seems like i would waste more money on gas to get out there..

Yeah I bet you'd make decent money, but if you're really far away from Venice Beach then hopefully you'd sell a bunch haha.

correct me if im wrong but doesnt bamboo have small traces of scionide*(sp?)
and wouldn't that be dangerous to smoke out of unless you boiled the bamboo first? if im off here i know im wayyyy off but i know there is something very similar to bamboo where this is true if it isnt bamboo itself, regaurdless wouldn't it be harmful to smoke out of it?

i donno man, ive smoked A LOT of bowls outta them and they seem to be fine. or maybe im just already too far gone to notice... lol

btw, the ones i smoke out of i cure first by lightly torching the outside ... u can see in the first pic that i posted that one is green and the other pipe is brownish ... the brown one is the one taht has been flamed.
