hi i would suggest that, if you only have limited camera gear, when you film, have the camera pluged into a laptop, this way you can record direct into some thing like premiere pro or such like, meaning that you can have a seperate mic in your case use the best condencer mic you can get hold of, tape the mic to a long stick {boom} & record your audio direct to the same time line, this will keep your video & audio in synch, but keeping them seperate channels, & the laptop will keep you mobile for various scenes in a nut shell it will make the audio much cleaner, as most budget cameras have pretty poor mics !, i hope your future films go well for you, & i hope this helps ?
