Great book. It has almost nothing to do with Zen or motorcycle maintenance; it's basically a crazy trip through the history of thought, all through the mind of an incredibly rational, intelligent biker during his trip across the country. Everyone I know who've read it have enjoyed it.
I'm reading that right now and just started part III today. Very philisophical.

Anyone here speed-read? I'd like to learn but i dont understand how one can power through difficult material and still comprehend it.

I'm also reading
Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill
How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie
Be Here Now by Ram Dass
and Meditation For Dummies by Stephan Bodian
i cant seem to stick to one book the whole way through without starting another one...

BTW has anyone read Ishmael by Daniel Quinn?

Ooooh. I've read that one. Your right. Good read.

Right now I'm halfway through Republic by none other then Plato Himself. Pretty interesting stuff.

Ok finished Prey, now I have to decide between Dune and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six. Which one should I read first?

Just finished Foop! by Chris Genoa, and it's a hilarious read. It's so bizzare and seemingly random at times but it all makes sense in a very hilarious way. I definitly recommend this book if you want a good read and laugh, and it also has a good amount of original characters, so you wont be disappointed.
