I actually just bought this at a local book store in Chicago, and I hate to be cliche', but I have to tell you myself: The movie was great... but it doesn't even compare to this! It's an incredibly quick read, as I finished more than half of it on a two hour plane ride back into Colorado Springs and the rest is just begging for me to dig into.

I haven't read either of those, but they seem very interesting.

After seeing your interests, I think you might enjoy some of these books, I sure have...

I've only read the last 2, since the first is out of print, but they are really crazy.

Re: Anyone reading good books?

I have to hand it to you Shrimphead, you've reminded me that I've been planning on picking up a copy of Supernatural for a very long time and I finally just got around to doing it today after reading your post. Inner Paths looks interesting as well, and it's rated enormously high pretty much everywhere, so I should be checking out a copy of that some time in the near future.

Re: Anyone reading good books?

revisiting this thread. in the middle of reading:
MacBeth - Shakespeare
The Secret Agent - Joseph Conrad
The City Shaped - Spiro Kostoff (not a novel, but a book about the way socio-historical influences shape the way a city looks with its avenues and streets)
