Just finished "Hey. Wait," by Justin. It nearly made me cry, and thats tough.

I demand that GC read it.

The Hobbit by Tolkien Best kids book ever, I've been reading it slowly over the last few weeks, a couple of pages before I crash out when I get back from work in the mornings. I know the story so well its just nice and relaxing. I feel bad for anyone whos never read it!

I got a new book the other day: The Double by Dostoevsky. Looks really interesting, I remember someone telling me about it a long time ago and I finally found it (for cheap too)

I half opened this for gnomexgrown to get an idea of what the City's reading and half to report what I've been reading for the past couple days.

Rainbow Six by Tom Clancy.

The part in the amusement park, immaculate. haha Tom Clancy novels are always great, although I think R6 and Patriot Games are better than most, more kick ass and taking names than international fiscal policies like Bear and the Dragon and some others that werent so hot.

I just learned about Terence Mckenna the other day. I actually wanna get into ethnobotany myself (it's a hobby of mine)

Anyway I'm reading "I Am America, and so can you" By Stephen Colbert
It's really really funny. A great read overall.

Great choice! After Food of the Gods, you should check out True Hallucinations. It's written with Terence's wit but in more of a journalistic context as he tours through the Amazon in search of a substance that the locals call 'oo-koo-eh'. As far as I'm concerned, it was probably a DMT-derivative but, regardless, they ingested more mushrooms than anything on that trip alltogether.

I have a good number of audio files of Terence's lectures, something that he dedicated most of his time to. If you want, just shoot me a PM and we'll work something out to get them to your ears.

Thanks for the suggestion mate, I'll keep my eyes out for that! Food of the Gods has been amazing It keeps me coming back for more, now I'd like to try mushrooms for the first time but no one has them around here. I'll wait till they come to me, whichever way it should be a great experience.

just finished "Comes A Horseman" by Robert Liparulo

now reading "Germ" by Liparulo also

extremely plot driven writer. extensive (understatement) research went into the writing of each novel.

He portrays evil flawlessly. very descriptive. some of the murders he writes are disturbing to say the least.

Im gonna start the newest book from John Grisham called The Innocent Man.

Just finished reading Tom Clancy's Night Moves from the series Net Force.

Stoned reading is so intresting, so it sober reading but stoned feels so adventurous and I get so into it.

Just began reading "Vibrational Medicine: The #1 Handbook of Subtle-Energy Therapies".

This is a book written by Richard Gerber, M.D., discussing what he calls Vibrational Medicine. It implies a sort of energy-life-force or soul, which has actual effects on the body. Very interesting, and convincing. I'd recommend it to any scientists, doctors, or even just spiritual people.
