another short sketch
hey, nice work, i'm really digging this piece especially. Do you think it would be alright if I did some coloring to it in Photoshop. I've been using photoshop now for a couple of years, and i'm getting into Adobe Illustrator too. I'd just like to see what a bit of color might do to enhance that fine piece of work .

oh, I like that last quoted sketch too. I like the double lined contours. That could make a pretty cool icon or logo colored.

That's sweet, man... I'll be looking for your posts more often.... I don't really have any artistic ability aside from music...but I love drawing 3-d shapes that your eyes can't follow...but I do'nt know if they're cool or not...they are to me...if anybody wants to see them just respond O_O

Tux, thanks bro, I don't really mind much since it's just a basic design, I don't even regard it as finished. Most pieces you see me post here are not finished. Originally that peice's idea was the leaf dropping water onto Earth, but of course I never really got into it. Somewhat symbolic I guess you could say

PE, If you're ever bored go ahead and color that peice up, I wouldn't mind seeing that. I'm actually thinking about switching my major sometime to graphic design. There's just too many options in the art world, it's hard to make a decision. But I do think it's about time I start getting serious about learning the program.

Reggin, thanks. I somewhat doubt my artistic abilities sometimes too, at times they're just not what I want them to come out to be. Although right now my drawing ability is down the shaft since I have not been practicing at all. Mostly because I'm a bum.

You're portraits are amazing. And I agree with the poster that said that is where you talent lies. You should embrace it because your work is truly phenomenal.

Peace of Mind, thanks much. I'll take that into consideration.

Raoul and indoor, thanks. Your compliments keep me going

Sorry for the long hiatus from any updates for those who care, but I have one simple drawing to get you by. More to come soon.

You're welcome!

And I like the new sketch. Simple, but elegant. Can't wait to see more. I eagerly await.

What made you decide to start drawing manga/anime?

I personally dislike that stuff but whatever floats your boat

Just some simple artwork to get proportions down and what not. I haven't been drawing anything extravagant lately so my linework and perception of proportions and all that good stuff has been out of wack.

Lately I've been doin some small sketches here and there, usually every day now, which is a change. I'll have to whip something good up soon and post it.
