Ice catcher or ashe catcher?

SO, im looking into buying a new bong and im pretty positive im gonna buy an EHLE. They seem like they make the best bongs for the price. I know everyone seems to have a fetish for the Roor, but come on they are over priced and im on a budget. Anyway heres my question. EHLE Glass - 5mm Ice Cylinder Bong - 45cm. Thats the bong im looking at. Its about 180 online. EHLE also makes a bong that is exactly the same but without an ice catcher. And its 40 bucks cheaper. So my question is should i get the one with the ice catcher, or the one without the ice catcher and spend that extra 40 i saved on an ASHEcatcher instead.

So basically i have a choice between an icecatcher or an ashe catcher. What do you people think?

I would probably go with an ashcatcher. It would keep your bong cleaner, and would probably deliver a smoother hit than using just a bong with ice in it.

I love having both but if I had to chose one it would be an ash catcher since it helps not get your bong dirty that quick.

Ash catcher, it's an extra little filter.

And Ice catchers, the ice melts and then your bong ends up over flowing with water.

why not get the ash catcher and put ice in with your water in the bottom of the bong... the ice water will still cool the hit...

RooR fetishes are for people who dont know anything about actualy quality glass.

Not saying RooR isnt quality but if you walk up to most stoners and go name your favorite Glass.

90% of them are gunna say RooR because thats all they know.

the way i would personally look at it is i could always easily add an ash catcher when i had 30 bucks down the line.... but could i add ice pinchers???

Ice catchers are very over rated i think and the ice melts so fast its more of a hassle. ash catchers are great

Ice catcher. You can always buy an ash catcher down the road when you get more money.

Personally I'd go with an ash catcher with the cheaper bong. The reason being that I don't prefer loading ice every time I want to take a hit, and the ash catcher saves you from getting all that extra crap in your bong.

So real. I mean, I have ripped my friend's RooR's and I am really not that impressed. Just a normal strait shot in my opinion. I do believe their are RooR connoisseur's that know a lot about other glass however it is my personal experience and opinion that SYN-showehead's, Torro's, and Illy's all top RooR.

As for OP. Those are some really nice strait shots, those EHLE, I had never heard of them before. Are they a local glassblowing company in your area? The prices seem to be almost as much as some of the bigger name water pipes. But if you're set on EHLE then go for the ashcatcher like everyone said. Personally I think the bong looks better with the ice catcher, and if you can't milk the bong all the way then what is the purpose of the ash catcher? Sort of just gets in the way and won't get you any higher.
