Do you have any weed ettiquette?

Can anyone offer any tips on weed manners? I usually smoke alone, and I realize I have no idea what expected when I smoke in a group.

Is it rude to get TOO high? Are people supposed to take turns bringing weed? Are you supposed to act normal or can you relax and say weird shit? What if I want to smoke more before everyone else is ready?

What's your top tip?

The best sure-fire way to make sure that everyone in the group is happy w/ you is to bring a bunch of weed and smoke it up.

Just be respectful, don't be a douche or a moocher.

also getting to high doesn't really matter unless you start acting like a retard, if you know your going to bust a giggle fit or something, don't smoke as much, if someone smokes you up, smoke em up back sometime, and don't smoke before (unless you're not with the people) as people will think your greedy if you don't give them a hit

I could write an entire book on weed etiquette. There's just a whole long list of things that you will realize as you go on to smoke more and more with other people.

The only real way to figure it all out is to smoke with stoners on the reg, and eventually you will learn the ways of good stoner etiquette.

Don't torch the bowl!

It's my pet peeve when the bowl is cherried and people still light it. Check to make sure it isn't lit, otherwise you're just wasting weed and making yourself look like an idiot.

I smoked this guy out one time and the bowl had a nice cherry going and he still lit it, he also kept the flame on the bud WAY longer than necessary, I finally had to nicely help him out. haha.

If you have weed and someone else packs a bowl, and they are about to pack another, it's a really nice thing to offer to pack a bowl of your own.

take your hits and then pass that shit before you start talking about whatever it is that's on your mind.

and i don't know about others but we usually have a three puffs max rule... as in, take no more than three puffs so that everyone has a chance to hit the doob. though most times when we pipe some good weed, we usually just take one larger hit and then pass. makes no sense having it waving around in the wind while you hold in your smoke and if there's a nice cherry going, let others take from it.

and if you skunk the bowl, refill it... unless it's not your stash then tell whomever is providing that it's cashed.

and for fucks sake, if you're using a glass piece, don't knock it against a brick wall to clean out the bowl. i've lost too many nice pieces that way from people that don't seem to understand that brick wall + glass pipe = broken pipe.

1.) dont park on the grass (dont pause the rotation)
2.) dont slobber all over the mouthpiece of whatever you are smoking out of
3.) dont cough into the piece
4.) if its not your bud dont worry about how much you smoke, be grateful that youre smoking for for free
5.) dont worry about being all "normal" just act your usual high self (dont act a fool though)

number one rule is respect, man. as far as like "house rules" just go with the flow. its always nice to bring some weed or some cash to throw down if someone else is supplying. dont torch the bowl, steal hits, etc. and i wouldnt get retarded high unless everyone else is, then by all means go for it.

bring a drink and let someone else take a sip out of it if they didn't. you'll become popular.
