Blue ash??

I was smokin some pretty good sativa the other day and it had straight up blue ash. The weed also burnt very fast and as it burned it made a crackling noise. When i looked at the bud closer i noticed that it has plenty of white spots on it, but the white spots didn't have trichromes and didn't stick up from the bud at all. I'm starting to get the feeling something is up with this bud, please help guys

i knew people who would spray their buds to add weight, flower color and such but ive never heard of that.
generally if the weed has a white ash its been flushed and cured and a black ash is from the opposite, not being flushed/cured properly...
the sprayed buds were sprayed with icing sugar which crackled and melted sorta and provided a candied hard ash.
im not saying DO this or SMOKE these buds, but if anything i bet you had artificial weight added to your marijuana and whatever is adding the weight is making this ash blue so...
take what you want from this, i have never EVER known a dealer to lace weed other than one guy who gave me a gram of 80-20 cocopuffs for $20. pot/coke

Dude that sounds like mold to me. Ik mold can have that blue color and white spots on bud that aren't trichomes matches the description of mold.

I highly doubt it is laced.

already said above me, but mold is the only thing that pops into my mind. white spots on your weed doesn't sound like a good thing....

Yeah, I've had some kind of mold on my weed that changed the colour of the ash too. It was a different type of mold but it's known to do that.

Freeze your bag overnight and take it out tomorrow, all the mold should be killed, try and pick some of it off if you can because mold is really bad to inhale.
