Smoking in the Winter...

Hey guys. I've only been smoking since spring, so with the coming cold here in the North East, I'm presented with a logistics problem...

I usually smoke in my bedroom at night, and when I finish, I open the windows and put a fan in one, and let it run all night. In the morning, the room smells fresh again. However, now that it's getting cold here, I wont be able to do that, and I'm afraid my room is going to start reeking of weed smoke.

I was thinking about finding some kind of small pump system, breath out into a tube and it sucks it right out the window, but I think it's impractical. I also thought about investing in a vaporizer (something I have been wanting to do). I thought maybe a vape might smell less, but I've never used one before, is this accurate?

Any other ideas?

Or just go outside, smoking in the cold is the shit. You don't even realize you are high until you go back in and the heat hits you then its like a ton of bricks all at once. Great feeling, I can't wait.

Plus you get to put snow in your bong!!!!

snow bongs are possibly the best thing ever a vape will probably not stink up ur room too bad. dont buy a volcano though. very over rated

Smoking outside wont work. I live in a too highly populated area. Plus when it snows, the street lights reflecting on the snow make it really bright out, so it'd be totally viable to my nosey neighbors. I'd love to try a snow bong, but that's a topic for another day.

Does anyone have suggestions on low-smell smoking techniques, and the best smell reducing spray?

A vaporizer should work great for your uses--The VaporCannon 3G by Vaporwarez is the best of the low-priced vapes IMO. Vapor, unlike smoke, will dissipate very quickly and doesn't linger for more than a few seconds. It takes a couple of tries to get used to dialing in the correct temps but the worst case scenario is your bud will burn a little and your room will smell like burnt popcorn.

After you work your way around the small learning curve you'll not only get higher but you'll save a lot of money on bud. Not to mention it tastes SO much better than smoking.. you'll just drool over the fact that it tastes just like your bud instead of what you're smoking out of--something you don't truly experience until you've vaped. If you try some Grapefruit or Lemon Kush it's seriously like an orgasm in your mouth!

Toliet paper tube + dryer sheets = THE FUCKIN' SHIT FOR SMOKIN' INSIDE!

Used it all the time, even with a bong going.. parents never knew.

Now I don't use it and smoke inside all the time and my parents still don't know.

if you are using a pipe or bong with the fan on it shouldnt smell in the morning

Get a 5 gallon bucket, fill it halfway with kitty litter. Then take a 6' plastic walmart desk fan and place at the top of the bucket facing up. You might want to put duct tape around the edges of the fan/bucket to make it air tight. Plug the fan in, smoke away...

Oh and if someone asks why you have a 5 gallon bucket with kitty litter and a fan on top, just tell them your smoking weed and want to conceal the smell..... /hitinfacewithshovel

Try a sploof and a one hitter then you won't even need to open windows. and check the airflow on your door, hold a lighter to the cracks and if the flame is being sucked into the cracks, the smell with leak out but if it is being pushed away from the cracks into your room no smell is really going to leak out, just dont smoke like five blunts haha. If thats the case turn your fan on all night and you'll be fine.

i do the same thing i just throw on some sweats and a hoodie and blaze. i just keep a fan at the door to keep it from gettin out then i'll close my windows like 15 after im done and spary some freebreze

Winter smoking can be fun, but it can get tough when you can only smoke in your room.

Here's what I did when it was cold out and I wanted to smoke inside...

1. Use a small bubbler and pack just enough that you can kill the entire bowl in one hit. (this will eliminate the residual smoke that comes straight out of the bowl when you light it and aren't drawing air)
2. Try to hold the smoke in as long as humanly possible, so as to maximize the effect per hit.
3. blow the smoke straight out that window of yours or through a fan that is pointing directly out the window. you may also want to give your room a few squirts of some type of non-suspicion raising air freshener. (febreeze, spray deoderant, or inscence if you commonly use it anyway, etc.)
4. blaze, blow, repeat.

I never had a problem with smoke in my dorm room, even with constant RA and CSO patrols stalking the halls. the key to this process is the first step: blowing the smoke out the window is no problem, but that residual bowl smoke is what's going to get ya. also, this is a very low cleanup setup (or, its very quick to dispose of any evidence that anybody has smoked in your room...which may be harder with a bong or vape)
