Trouble Smoking Pure Hash

I just got some hash and I am trying to smoke it through a gravity bong that I made out of a Sobe bottle. I can't get the hash to light though and fill the bottle with smoke. Any suggestions? My goal here is to smoke pure hash. Thanks for your help!

hmm im not a pro, but i think putting the hash on some weed would work, i dont know how to smoke pure hash though, maybe a torch lighter?

Scratch the gravity bong dude, lol.

Hash doesn't really burn fast enough to pull that off. Just pack it into a bowl with a screen and light it. If you don't have a screen mix it with some bud or tobacco, it'll burn much quicker and won't pull through so fast.

Even with a screen I'd mix it with tobacco or bud to be honest. Hash doesn't go too well just by itself.

Thanks. My friends and I were just confused because it worked the other night with the grav bong, and then we tried it again last night and couldn't get it to. Sorry, but I'm really new to this. How do I pack a bowl with a screen? lol

Lol well, you either have a metal screen or you don't. I'm guessing you don't else you'd already know what I'm talking about lol

Your best bet is to mix in some tobacco and/or weed as mentioned above. You can use your grav bong method or just hit it as a regular bowl, both should work. Trying breaking up your hash as little as you can into the weed/tobacco, chunks of hash don't like to burn that well/.

You don't need a screen, really. Just put a few buds at the bottom of the bowl (enough to where no bud will suck through, but not too much or it won't hit). Put the hash on top of that. Toast it nice and slow with your lighter, to get the hash bubbling a bit. presto! done

If you don't have a metal screen, get a knife and poke at a bathroom faucet. That's the easiest way to get one.

Whenever I smoke hash, it's out of a normal glass pipe, with a screen, with no bud beneath it. It lets you taste the hash pure, which I find a lot better.

I dont know about you but when i smoke pure hash i get a crazy headache so i either smoke it with a little bit of tobacco or bud.

but thats just me. =D
