One more day til i get them pulled

I got mine pulled three days ago...after the numbness goes away its smooth sailing. Just stick to scrambled eggs, pudding and jello.

just got em pulled, i feel ya man. it's not as bad as it sounds though, just dont smoke for the first 24 hours after theyre gone. youll be right

i actually just got my wisdom teeth pulled today and have been reading up on smoking after the surgery
I'm going to just save my weed today and wait till tomorrow till i toke

what i found is that many people didnt like the affects of smoking weed because it made their mouths throb

another thing to be aware of is that it makes your mouth dry which allows bacteria to thrive and increase the chance of infection, so just keep a glass of water near by

ANOTHER thing i read up on was that someone said that the smoke itself can mess with your stitches (either make they stay in longer or idk)

like i said, save your weed for the first day...just take the painkillers

I smoked my bong bout 8 hours after I got my wisdom teeth pulled. I was mad paranoid about getting Dry socket so I pulled REALLLLLLLLLLLLY slow and got it really milky and just hit that shit. Basically as long as u don't create any tight suction u should be fine!

DO NOT smoke afterwards. You'll possibly get dry sockets. Stick with the Vicodin. It's harmless.

So i got them pulled yesterday and the pain wasn't bad at all. First time I went under general anesthesia which was fucking awesome. I took vicodin for barely any pain and it was fun as hell. I think I'm probably gunna smoke later today. Thanks for all the advice guys!

nice job man. just be careful, the smoke can be an irritant to the sockets. although that prolly wont matter if you're bakeddddd

my stitches just came out (on their own) and my sockets are pretty much healed up so i am very happy

Yah, so I have smoked a few times since tuesday when I got the teeth pulled and it's all been perfect. I would like to once again thank you all for the advice!

man i scrolled through so many answers and didnt really see anyone bring up dry sockets.

My girlfriend works in a dentist office, trust me. Dont smoke after you get them removed. Dry sockets are a whole new kind of pain that will make just getting them removed seem like nothing

yea its all over the thread
