I would assume dry sockets from smoking would be caused by the heat from the smoke making the platelets less viscous, essentially dissolving the clot and opening the wound. So if you inhaled directly into your lungs without using your mouth for suction you should be fine.

They gave me some oxycotin and some pill that starts with a M. My mom was being a bitch though and switched my medication after a few days.

i got all 4 of mine out a couple weeks ago. i got t3's and ketorolac. just to be safe i wouldnt smoke for a bit (through your mouth anyways) cuz what ive heard is dry socket is really painful and isnt worth the risk. i just took my t3's and smoked a gravity bong through the nose which i didnt mind at all.

If I were you, I'd shut up and enjoy my Vicodin.

No seriously, your not supposed to smoke right after you get your teeth pulled because of possible bacterial infections and stuff like that. But edibles are fair game... and so are pills.

No way they gave you oxycontin or methadone neither would be perscirbed for wisdom teeth removal. They prbly gave you OXYCODONE and there is a big difference between oxycontin and oxycodone. oxycontin is released under longer amounts of time and in more potency(hence why they are chewed, snorted or injected to break the time release) . oxycodones are weak and instant.
