Weed Storage. To Grind or Not to Grind...

Disclaimer: I am very afraid of the grasscity.com search engine. Having to wait 15 seconds between searches is too long for my attention span.

I'm sure this has been covered before, but which of the following storage methods keep your weed the freshest longer?

1. Airtight Glass Jar - NOT ground up.
2. Airtight Glass Jar - Ground up.
3. SmellyProof Bag - NOT ground up.
4. SmellyProof Bag - Ground up.

Of course, if their is a better method, by all means, enlighten me.

Why is it better to open the jar once a week? Does it make tht much of a difference?

Interesting. I thought the glass jar would be the best. I didn't know I'd have to open it once a week tho. Good to know.

It lets the buds air out, so they can cure (your buds get tastier the longer they're stored in jars) and so mold is less likely to grow.
Again the weed should be properly dried before going in a jar. It should be when bought, but just in case, the stems should snap, not bend

Muy interesante. I've heard that putting an orange peel inside the jar will serve some purpose? Any thoughts on that?

jar not ground. why would you want to grind anyway i love to look at a big bud. only grind when your about to use it.

That's to add moisture to the buds. Not recommended though because it will grow mold.
