My parents found something..

Well it all happened today at about 4, i was going to my friends house and had a joint, 7 cigars and 2 lighters in my pocket. My mom was going to drop me off there, for some unknown reason, my mom wanted me to empty my pockets, so i did i managed to have everything go nicely untill she wanted me to open the gum pack ( i kept the joint and 7 cigars in the gum pack) I reluctantly opened it... my moms face turned into a mix of anger, dissapointment and sadness. I didn't know what to say; I got a HUGE lecture from her but managed to convince her that I don't smoke, just merely sell them..

now my mom has no trust for me at all, I know it's my fault and all, but what can i do to regain her trust ( and my dads too)

P.S I'm Punjabi, so my parents are completly against this kind of behaviour..

dude why would you tell them you're just selling it? Dealing is way worse than smoking weed.

I also have Indian immigrant parents who are completely against any kind of illegal behavior, whether it be smoking or drinking.

Simply put, if your parents are anything like mine, if I were to ever be caught doing anything I would simply lose all trust and privacy. I don't know what you can do to regain it as that is a more personal thing, but I can give you some very key advice.

It is really just a bad idea to be smoking weed when you are completely reliant upon my parents for transportation. I am not sure what your situation is, but simply getting into the car with your mother when you have weed on you was not the best choice.

If nothing else, simply lay low for a while. This may not mean completely quitting smoking but perhaps giving it a few weeks break could do a lot for you. Not only will you get a lower tolerance (get higher when you earn their trust back!) but you can take the extra time you now have to either better yourself or make yourself look better in your parents eyes. I've been smoking for 2 years now, one year under my parents' roof. In hindsight I do regret it, but I have never been caught simply because I do not take the chances. If there is a decent chance of your parents picking up on it, simply avoid the situation. You have to make sacrifices if you are going to go against your parents' wishes and still live under their roof.

You shoulda seen my moms face when she got called to the police station when i got caught. Best thing you can do is just let it blow off. Just play it cool for a while, or try to convince her weed isnt bad, show her the movie "the union". If she doesn't think weed is bad after that, then she deserves to get slapped.

I know it was risky, I did not plan on my mom driving me..

Dude I had a college roomy who was Punjabi! He is one of my best buddies but yeah we always had to put on a big act around his parents because of it.

I live in Canada, near Van, shiit, even my neighbors a dealer thats how "Anti-drug" we are..ahha
