Re: The Apprentice Toker's Guide To Not Being Scummed

Great, simple guide, bro! I'm def not a new toker, but I'm new to GC, and I know that it helps to inform a lot of first-time smokies. But anyways... speaking of getting scummed and not fronting money, (especially large amounts) I know a guy that desperately fronted over a grand and the dealer ran with it. The guy that fronted it was definitely not new to anything which is what completely shocks me. I guess desperation can lead to mindless decision-making after all.

Shame.

I agree, you need to have manners to get far if you ask for things nicely people will see you as someone who they will want to deal to more instead of some asshole who isn't worth their time.

Re: The Apprentice Toker's Guide To Not Being Scummed

I once sold some son of a bitch 'stretched oregano'. And when I thought he'd never come back he called me a week later if he'd get some more cuz the 'weed' I gave him was pretty good.

That kid was stupid as fuck.

I find this kind of funny. This entire guide was written to avoid people like you.

Re: The Apprentice Toker's Guide To Not Being Scummed

You can avoid all that trouble if you just pick up your weed at the dealer's house, that way you can examine your bag & also they wouldn't scam someone who knows where they live That's my guide!

Post Re: The Apprentice Toker's Guide To Not Being Scummed

Very nice guide. I dabbled in the sales industry for quite some time, and therefore I think i know a thing or two about the art of the transaction (*claim*). The guide covers everything that most people will ever encounter, meaning the average dealer scum bag tricks and scams. However, you can't be prepared for everything, and something unexpected can always happen. You should always be evaluating the situation, and making sure that you are not in danger. I have a couple additions to the guide, hopefully the original poster can ammend and make a nicely formatted guide that I can print out and throw on my coffee table (if you would be so kind ).
Always make sure you:
A)Know where you are. If you don’t know where you are, you are at an immediate disadvantage.
B)Know who you are dealing with. Find out something about this person, try to determine if (s)he is legit.
C) This was mentioned above, but numbers is key. The more people you have with you, they less likely you are to get outnumbered (obviously).
D)Know the way out and always be able to bounce if need be. I know it sounds stupid, but I have had a gun pulled on me over a QP by someone I considered a friend. I handed over all my money and there was nothing I could do about it.
E) Know when you’ve lost control of the situation.
F)Always remember, be as easy going as possible and try not to be confrontational with any drug dealer (you never know when they might snap )

thats my 2 cents.
