Got some kind of funny looking weed....

I just bought a bag of regular from a dude and it is brick weed, so it's not that good anyway, but I mean, the stuff I get from this guy is usually good enough. But this particular bag has a kind of dark blackish brown color in some places and along the edge of the brick where it's flat it's got some blackish brown resiny looking stuff caked up on it. It doesn't really have much of a smell, but it's not really seedy and it gets me pretty high. I'm just a little concerned about it. I think it's possible that it has been wetted down, but it's not moldy. It looks like it could be a little overripe, too, but that's just my observation, I'm not really sure. I was just wondering if these are clear signs of anything seriously fucked up about this weed, or if it's just kind of dirty being bricked and shipped from wherever, and would it be something any of you would be concerned about if you had gotten it.

sounds like normal dirt to me.

Without pictures it's very tough to judge. But from your description, it looks like normal brick weed.

Did you smoke it yet?

Yeah, I smoked some. It gets you pretty high, but it has a funny look. I have picked up some decent brick shwag from this guy before, but this is what he sold me this time. I didn't think anything was wrong with it, just wasn't 100% sure. Thanks for the replies.
