Stopping a joint from canoeing

    I was just smoking a joint earlier and i realized it was canoeing. I also realized i don't know how to fix it and had to waste weed in my joint. So basically how do you stop a joint from canoeing?

    slob some spit all over the spot where its boatin' and also around the joint/blunt in a circle/then proceed to smoke it with the boating side facing down.

    lick your finger and poke in front of the run. Make sure it moistens the joint, or you won't do anything. gotta get some saliva goin. lol.
    Also, different papers have better control over that. The thinner the paper usually the better. Also, hemp papers seems to be pretty good.
    The best so far I've found that I like I think are DLX. They don't run and really thin, but really strong.

    Im assuming i have to relight it when it hits the licked spot so it doesent boat again?

    No, the wetness should even the burn out on it's own. A lot of running is caused by lighter error.

    canoeing is when a joint burns faster on one side. you can usually end it quick by spitting on your finger and wetting the spot where it's running up on.
