Grinding up weed?

Hey i was thinking about making some firecrackers for the weekend, and have a couple of questions when it comes to grinding up the weed:

1: What do i grind, and what dont i grind:P in other words, the weed i bought has stems and seeds in it, and the rest looks like green tobacco. Do i just grind it all? or do i take out the seeds and stems.

2: I was googleing "ground up weed" and all i got were pictures of what looked like my weed (in other words green, factory rolled cigarett, tobacco) so is that what ground up weeds realy looks like? cause i thought ground up weed would be powdery.

ok in other words, should i eventualy just take out the seeds and stems and then use the rest for the firecrackers. or should i take out the seeds, stems and then grind it up to a fine powder, wich i will then use for the firecrackers?


3: if the last thing i said is a fact, what should i use to grind the weed with?

Hey man, ground up weed is yeah, just green almost powdery if its really fine. It's a good sign and smokes better when ground.

If you dont have a grider, use scissors. Just keep cutting away at it and let it crumble onto a plate or something, I use scissors and end up with some good fine weed.

I don't bother moving stems around, I just chop up the whole bud into bits. Little lumbs if you wanna hit from a pipe or bong, finer if you wanna roll. Or fine works fine in pipes etc. Whatever.

you said you're making firecrackers, so you can leave in sticks, stems, the occasional loose seed, w/e

grinding is pretty important if you're cooking because it exposes more surface area of the bud and more THC can be absorbed

along the same lines as MagicalJM mentioned.. you could take a shot glass and small scissors and cut up the bud finely in the glass if you have no grinder

all that said, a multi-stage grinder is a good idea

Hows the bud there? I'd guess there would be a lot of outdoor weed.

yea why not leave the stems in since they still may have THC on them. ive never made firecrackers but i'm guessing you strain out the leftover bud, right?

ive made firecrackers several times now. usually what I do is break up the weed like i normally would if i was smoking. (ie remove stems and seeds) take what you have an break that up further. if you dont have a metal grinder or a cofee grinder you can always use scissors. Ive even used our decorative mortar and pestle we have @ home. (lol)

Hehe yeah, and absolutly everybody smokes! you could fire up a j while walking down the street, and no one would bother looking twice at you. You wont find bud with higher quality then middies, but its reeealy cheap. quater of a dollar per gram

for edibles you can leave the stems in because they have THC in them i believe. i think you should take the seeds out though. i imagine they will be annoying to have in your food

Before I got a grinder I just went at the weed with a knife on a cutting board. Worked pretty well but kinda a lot of work. I'd take the seeds out, leave the stems if you're cooking. If you're smoking or vaporizing what you grind take out both stems and seeds.

I don't know about a mix master. I wouldn't mess around using stuff you don't know if itd grind or just mash the bud into all your stuff.

Really, scissors, chip away at it onto a plate until its nice and fine. Easy peasy ^_^
