The universal smoking peice

Is it just me or is the trumpet mouthpeice like a universal peice of smoking paraphernalia? I have had one since i started smoking and in the beginning used it as a pinch hitter or a one hitter, but later on i relized it can also be used as a slide and bowl for a bong, or a pipe, or the mouthpeice to a lightbulb vapo; That alone left me rather supprized that its not more commenly used but i also come to find out tonight that it also can be dropped into the top of a 2 liter-20oz bottle and create a perfect seal and dill a hole in the bottem of the bottle and you have yourself a super easy gravity bong. So my question is why isnt this used more often, i mean when using it for everyting cept a one hitter you cant even taste any metel, atleast not on mine but i didn actually at one point in time play trumpet. So any thoughts on this?

A friend and I jacked a mouthpiece from my school's band, washed it out (sterilized it and all) and we use it any time we make a water bottle bong. Works perfectly. If you need a makeshift filter for large mouthpieces from tubas and the like, you can salvage the paper from tea bags.

You can buy a mouthpiece separately. They run at about $35, but it's better to just buy a slide at your local smoke shop.

I think a glass slide would cost about the same and be guaranteed safe. I've bought some cheap ones for ~$10. Those mouthpieces are not meant to be smoked and vary in their metal content.

Then again, having a trumpet to smoke out of on the road is pretty stealthy. I knew one kid that would make his bubble.

I actually got mine with my trumpet so i didnt know that they cost 35 however using just a standerd c7 it should only be about 10 max. And there incredably thick metel so they dont heat up very fast. And how would a zig-zag be the universal piece if the only thing you can do with it is roll a joint.

Eh, they can be had cheaper. $30 is something you can play on too. If you want a mouthpiece for the sole purpose of smoking...fuck it, find a $10 job. I've never thought about it though. I've got a bunch of baritone mouth pieces sitting around, and maybe a trumpet one. How does that water bong thing work with a trumpet mouthpiece?

I've heard very little about smoking out of wind insturment mouthpices. they cost several times what a bong slide would, and I would seriously doubt they are anywhere as nice to smoke out of, AND they are metal and not glass.... so fuck that, that's honestly stupid. To me it sounds like what junior high kids who can't buy a bowl and dont know anyone old enough to buy a bowl use.

Funny enough i can buy a bowl, however i dont want to be tied down to using only a bong, i perfer to mix it up everytime i smoke. Plus if a cop searchs me and finds a trumpet mouthpeaice on me i am much less likly to get fucked for parhpinalia then if i had a smoking stone or chillum. I will upload a video in a minute of how it works as a slide/bowl combo.
