maaaan i have been trying since at least 5:30. and It's now almost 8...I still can't get it! Well, I have managed two semi-passable joints. I can get the rolling down, it's just the part when you flip the paper down and then roll upward that keeps messing me up >___<

When both your indexes are positioned to roll upward, apply pressure with both hands like if you wanted to rip the joint in half. Your right hand pulling right, and your left hand pulling... left.

That way you won't have any "paper" issue, like double folding etc...

Thanks Elend, great guide. I've rolled 2 so far and I think I roll exceptionally well now. I'd upload pictures but i cant seem to find any batts.

Usually I smoke with my friend and he has a bowl, but I wanna try rolling a joint. I just have 1 question.

I don't have a grinder, so how do I get the weed nice and cut up? Do I just take some scissors and start cutting at the tip of the bud until I have a nice little pile?

Scissors and time. That's what you'll need! I recommend getting a grinder though. You can find really cheap ones that will do the job better then scissors.

If you want an even easier way... wrap your paper around one of the old school wooden pencils and close it up with the glue now it should fit kinda like a sleeve. then pull it down the eraser end till you have a little bit hanging off then twist it, this is the front of your j. Then take the paper off and start putting the green in, you can make a funnel out of paper if you want. then pack it with the same pencil(it fits perfect) and enjoy

I have the same regards today towards "pencil rolling" that I had when I made this guide.

If you're a beginner, and rolling a joint is an excruciating process, then you can use the pen. But for weed's sake, don't make a habit out of it.

Like anything, rolling can be learned, and if you get stuck with the pen, you'll never learn.

You can use anything to grind it, scissors, your hands, your iphone or whatever. It just has to be grinded :P.

Kinda confused about the cut, when you put it in, do you put it in the side with empty space or the side with weed on the edge of it? What are the benefits of a cut? Also, can you make a joint with just weed or should you put tobacco or something else in, I've heard u must put something else in.
