cone j's are alot easier to roll and better imo as the hits are uniform in potency throughout the joint.

That said, I hate Js. Taste horrible, harder to roll, cant keep em in your pocket without fuckin em up, and have a much higher tendency to go out mid joint.

The obvious +rep is due here for such a useful guide. I have a question though, not about rolling, but about rolling papers. I'm only 18 and where I live (New Jersey) the smoking age is 19. Does that mean I have to be 19 to buy rolling papers? I find that a bit weird because they don't have tobacco in them so they can't really be declared a tobacco product but more like an accessorie(sp), like a lighter, which you only need to look a bit older than some 14 year old wanna be to be able to buy.

It really depends on where you will buy it, and by that I don't mean your state or country, but rather to who you'll buy it from.

Technically here in Canada you have to be 18 to buy it, but even when I was younger, just ask for some rolling paper, if he asks you if you're 19, tell him the truth, and then say it's for your dad that rolls his cigarette and wanted you to buy some for him.

Bring an element of familiarity and they will sell some to you, if you're under-aged, I doubt the seller will think of you as a weed smoker.

If where you live buying a lighter isn't an issue, I dont think the rolling paper will be.

first off +rep for sure great guide this is very similar to how i roll

i agree with the earlier comment that mentioned cone rolling, cones do burn better and i think look cooler too but they are also harder to roll and perfect, you must be experienced to roll a good cone joint i think

also you could maybe mention spliffs, the idea of adding tobacco in with the joint to help it burn slower and more even and also to give you a rush along with the high

many people are not fans of spliffs but personally it is 95% of what i smoke
i love the taste of spliffs not to mention the fact that they burn much better and are 25% fatter at least every time

why do u add the roach at the end?? just start rolling with it in... and btw back rolling is much better than front rolling.. but umm if ever, sticking somthing down the joint to pack it down isnt a good way just put ur rolled joint between two fingers and tap it gently on a table or somthing for a while and that way it packs the j down evenly... oh well thats how i roll but its personal and do what u like... enjoy
