Why is brick weed associated with bad weed?

I've smoked brickweed that got me really high.

All bricked means is that it was 'bricked' to be easier to smuggle.

Most likely coming out of Mexico. Nothing wrong with some good brickweed.

Does this all come from Mexico or is there someone in NC that really blows at growing bud.

I'm from the San Antonio greater Metropolitan area. The majority of the weed here is brick weed. It's all mostly imported by 18 wheeler trucks across the border and packaged in tight 5 pound bricks triple wrapped in celophane and plastic. I used to buy large amounts, like 2-3 pounds at a time... and you could see the slash marks from the razor blade they had to use to open the packaging on the brick.

It's seedy, because they grow for speed and don't remove the males. But it's still big business. And in my theory the reason this business even exists (the commercial weed one that is) is so sensimilla hydroponic weed's price will stay higher. It's economic control. You get so tired of that nasty brick stuff, you'd rather go and buy some nice dank for up to 3X the cost.

im from a small ass town in NC and i have a reliable connect with all the exotics. he got me some fresh bud the other day called oasis. ive actually have had a hard time finding the brick weed (you know jus to pass on to others, not smoke).

I live in southern Arizona and there is a LOT of shitty brick weed, all brought in from Mexico. Fourtunatly there is also a lot of good weed too though, so it's all good.
