im just curious if anyone has some tips or ideas on finding some grass when relocated to a new town and you dont have connections...is it just a waiting game to stumble into it or is there a way to actively search?

i dont really like the idea of just asking people i dont know too well, then i look like the sketchiest guy ever...but man i really want to get high! if anyone around charlotte knows of something help a guy out!

heres what i do, its casual, funny, and it works.

go somewhere and call whatever your looking at "dank" like, "oh shit that couch is dank"... than add that you wish you had some (you cant get in trouble for WANTING some) so now you get "oh shit, that couch looks dank... damn wish i could get some dank" jokingly. People willl either thinking your joking, or if they smoke they will prolly say something..... works for me

Just make friends.. Connections will build.. mention you really need a dealer, it can be a slow process.. but it's the only real good way really.

I can possibly smoke you up man, but dude check out uncc go around campus lots of bud there u could ask someone around there that looks like they get high they probally can point u in the right direction, works sometimes, (helps having longer hair) how far are you from the guitar center in charlotte?

Just look for red glassy eyes, always a giveaway! No just kidding, this seems to be a popular topic, I'm in the same boat my friend (have been for about 6 months), I wish you all the luck. When I was in my twenties, I moved around alot, and had a lot of similar dry spells, eventually something/someone came around.
Much harder this time around, I'm married (so bars and clubs are out) and work from home (don't meet hardly anyone), I live where there are a lot of retired people, so everyone I meet has clear white eyes - LOL!

talk to people in your new town on line, by the time you move there you'll be smoking out with them. that's how I did when I moved to seattle. I started talking to people online in seattle area and about 3 weeks later I met them in person and started smoking weed with them.

it starts with a job! get like a job and say to someone " I would be at home smoking on a fatty but unfortunatley i ran out"! if you dont have a job or are too young to work just say to someone " hey do you have a cigarette ? if they say "yes" then reply with "thanks and ask "hey are their any headshops around here?" I'm trying to see what kind of waterpipes or bongs they got out here" (automatically people are going to know your a stoner) if they say "no" then say the same thing only instead of asking for headshops ask for smoke shops then mention the bongs and stuff! try that!! remember....conversations escalate!!

I'm in the same situation in south florida. Moved here about a year ago and still haven't found a good connect. Some ok shit here and there but nothing like I was used to back at home in ATL. Good Luck man.

appreciate the tips, i guess i will have to be patient with charlotte. i know there is a ton of grass getting passed around here, just cant seem to get my hands on any...kinda why i started looking on this sight. that dank couch trick is pretty funny, i actually might give it a try.

musicman, i appreciate the offer, but i am looking to buy and then i will smoke you out man! the uncc idea has promise, but i just got out of college and would have been kinda sketched out by some random guy asking me if i knew where to get high...plus i dont have the hippie look going, so people dont see me as a stoner which makes it even harder to get stuff....but i guess ill just keep at it...

EDIT: Forgot to mention, don't ask whoever is working there, that could get you in trouble (unless they mention it first).
