Seems to me that it's terribly irresponsible. I was listening to Mychal Thompson and Andrew Siciliano discuss that this afternoon, MT was basically saying that drinking during halftime is hellaciously disrespectful to your teammates.

How is that keeping it real may I ask?

Ha well i meant he is playing for his own personal love of the game, not for the endorsements and other things that come with the territory, like some of his other teammates

You act like it just happened for no reason. Someone threw a beer all over him. In that context it was a really bad move on his part. He should have just let it go. But what if you were on the streets and someone threw a beer all over you. Does that justify getting a beating? I'd say so. That fan deserved it although I think I remember that Artest didn't know exactly who threw the beer and ended up punching the guy standing next to him haha.

Ya that's my thoughts exactly, would you just walk away if someone threw a beer on you and you were watching who it was? Hell no, you give them what they deserve haha no one even talks about LeGarrete Blount from Oregon anymore because what he did was just stupid, Artest had a reason to fight, not just because he has bad sportsmanship.

I'm with you. If someone throws a beer at me for no reason, I'm going headhunting. He should have at least found out who the guy who threw the beer was though.
Apparently over 70% of the NBA smokes weed, and a good amount of them are high on the court. Now if Artest is getting cross-faded during games, he's a beast.

I think it was the week before thanksgiving. And i just found out that it was a Diet Coke that was thrown at Artest, not a beer haha but the guy was probably drunk still.
Yeah, the guy was drunk.. he had alcohol problems at the time or something.
