Truthfully...
Paintball is the one sport that alot of the people who play it, pour all their heart into it.
At first, it seems like a hobby. It's too addicting. soon it becomes a lifestyle.
All your money. All your time. Everything goes into this sport.
You make new friends. Some of these people even become best friends.
On the field, whoever is at the end of your barrel, is the person you hate the most.
The only thing you want to do is stomp their sh!t in.
But off the field or after the point, you turn back to regular friends.
The BEST sport that i've ever played. hands down.

it used to be an obsession for me I poured all of my money into my new gun jersey playin pants everything.
but then it just got way too expensive. The field I went to upped the price from costing me about 50 bucks to play a day to about 125 bucks a day and I just said hell no. Now I haven't played in about a year and a half.

plus I got into MMA and thats my new obsession that could pay off more in the long run

oh man.. how i miss paintball. i used to play Axbl in new york. had to quit to leave for college..been thinking about getting back in. wish it wasnt so expensive.

Yeh. Paintball is expensive. you really have to commit and really have heart if you want to play it. MMA could seriously pay off in the long run, hopefully it goes well for you.

paintball used to be the only thing I loved. I would play it, watch it, read about it, anything. But now it makes me sick just thinking about not being able to afford it. Playing frontman my gun always got beat to shit, so everytime I turn around I have to pay for some new fix.

but like I said MMA will pay off way more. In paintball you pay for paint and shoot it out and pay for more its a never ending cycle of money lost. But in MMA you will have the skills you learn for the rest of your life

after a while paintball got a lot cheaper for me cause i got to become good friends with a lot of ballers all i have to pay for every weekend is paint and sometimes entry.

and if you know the right people you can get paint around 20 bills a case

MMA will give you a set of skills that you will have for your entire life.
Paintball gives you alotttt of heart that you will always look back on and smile.
MMA...you can destroy someone and really become a strong person mentally and physically. Congrats on the MMA dude.
The Cali pb scene.... god, I wish I lived out there.

hell yeah If I lived in Cali I would still be playing paintball.
but the fact of the matter is I live in hicktown North Carolina where the paint will always be 50 bucks a case no matter who I know, or who I'm friends with

im soo glad i found this forum cuz i love weed and paintball but they dont really go to gether if your pro (im not pro) i would like to go pro but i need to get in to a couple tournys but right now im just a rec baller for 3yrs and a amoker for almost 2yrs but have anyof you played paintball blazed out of your skull before?

nah thats the only thing I don't do high.
I bet it would be fun as a one time experience, but if i'm going to play I want to play at my best.

In my prime about a year ago I was mowin faces down the snake. but now I just hit the bong and think about how things used to be

i have and it was intresting cause I noticed some things I needed to tweak when i was playing lol (i can see better stoned....that or things just seem more clear i dunno)

Paintball has grown sooo much as a community. Everything has gotten better. The team divisions, competition, formats, guns, loaders, all the technology. It's amazing. North Carolina still has the CFOA (Carolina's field owner association). That is a great league for some serious X-ball.
I don't think I will ever play paintball high. I take my game really serious and try to play at my max everytime I step out onto the field. Dorrito side killllla

Pyro... you should get back into the game. You can pick up some really nice guns now for a good price. Proto SLG's depending on if you want the UL frame model or the basic model run from 200$ to 300$. They are really solid guns. I mean... it's no DM9 or Ego9, but it definatley gets the job done for a full season of serious x-ball. Even if you played like once a month or so, that's still doing good.
