Not really. Their entire lineup is coming back. Fix the rotation and bullpen issues and they could get back. Yankees too. Even though the AL is a much tougher league. I mean the Dodgers are ok and St Louis isnt bad and maybe the rockies but thats really it in the NL. AL is stacked. Yankees, Angels, Red Sox are the championship level teams but the Rays, Twins, Tigers, White Sox and even the Rangers now all have legitimate shots at going deep in the playoffs.

congrats to all the yankee fags. excuse me, fans. don't get me wrong, i barely watch any baseball, so i'm not a sore loser. i dont even have a favorite team. i just hate when a team, no matter what sport, wins because of their bank roll as opposed to their love and dedication to the game. if it takes you an extra 60 million dollars to win championship, you don't deserve it.

Anyone who says that the Yankees didn't play as a cohesive, exuberant team should me slapped with a stupid stick.

Part of the reason why the Yankees can spend as much money as they do on their team; Run This Town: New York in a Yankees State of Mind | NBC New York 3 Million people packed in, waited over night, to watch the Yankee victory parade. |

It just bothers me that more than likely theyre gonna throw a shit ton of money at holliday/jason bay/lackey/fielder and every other big name free agent and sign a couple of them. Baseball needs a salary cap. Other teams cant afford 250 million a year just to keep up with a team that has the backing of the biggest city in the world. Like Kansas city can do nothing to stop the yankees from taking halliday from them. Just like the twins with cc. They wanted to resign him they just didnt have the money teams like ny and boston did. This is the reason for a salary cap in all other sports except baseball. Makes no sense and leads to the same teams making the playoffs every single year.
