NBA 08 vs NBA 2k8

hey everybody im trying to decide which basketball game i wanna buy for the ps3. ive read some reviews and im leaning towards 2k8 because i think ill like the gameplay better but i hear nba 08 has incredible graphics from the reviews and people i know, one of my uncles makes it sound like the best game ever. so i was just wondering if anyone here has played either and what you thought about it, and if you've played both which do you like better?

2k8-second best basketball game you can get(ncaa 2k8)..its got great gameplay and is realistic. its not overly realistic, but compared to nba live its REALLY realistic. graphics are not the best, each 2k game doesnt have a change in graphics...

live-gameplay is horrible, unrealistic, great graphics.

I still play NCAA07 March Madness, its not my favorite game but it does the trick whenever I want to play a basketball game. That being said, I think basketball games suck, they dont even compare to NFL, NHL, or even golf games.

MLB 2k8 is the sickest sports game ive ever played

mlb 2k8 is pretty good, i suck at pitching still

Im amazing at pitching, its the norm for me to pitch a shutout, and I think ive pitched 3-4 perfect, no-hit games in my GM Mode. GM Mode is absolutely ridiculous. Again, by far better than the GM mode in any other sporting game.
