Fucked up start, they start the season off with a couple regular season games over seas...then they play a few more exhibition games here, whats up with that?
Chicken shit Sox tried to back out of the trip all together......& thats after they ragged on M. Mussina for only saying the the trip took a toll on him when they played over seas......................"A FEW YEARS AGO"

Do you have any idea what you are talking about?
The Red Sox petitioned the trip because the coaching staff and trainers were supposed to be getting paid for the trip, but prior to the trip the MLB said no. So they said the only way they were going to go was if the coaches and the trainers were going to get the money that MLB promised.
Thats pretty classy if you ask me.

I like the Indians and the Cubs. But theres nothing like opening day of baseball.
2-0 Oakland lead after the 1st inning

Yeah, I know the deal man, I have ESPN too...but still. Do the players always make sure the trainers & staff are getting paid? or is it just when they go over seas?
Cubs? they might make some noise this season.

Pretty exciting game for the opener. It's nice to wake up and see baseball on TV.

On a 20 day trip to Japan, Yeah. When the players agreed to play the opener in Japan, MLB said they would have their coaches and trainers taken care of as well. That changed and the players backed their staff. I say good for them.

Been a damn good game. Okajima pitched lights out in the 9th. Looks like Boston is going to win this one off a center field double by Manny.

Daisuke Matsuzaka's homecoming was saved by Manny Ramirez.
10 innings! I guess it was worth watching after all, some hate those long games....the longer the better I say.
I'm with'ya Mushrooms, I just like raggin on the Sox, lol.

Well, it's official, the Sox have the best record in the league. All you other teams might as well quit.
The only way Manny's extra innings bases-clearing double could've been better would be if it were a walk-off, but you take what they give you!

The only thing that would have been better is if Manny actually acted like a professional athlete and ran out of the box instead of striking a pose from sports illustrated.
Oh well, Sox won, but Id be pretty pissed if I was Francona since Manny pretty much walked out of the batters box anticipating a HR.

Another good game this morning. Oakland up 4-1 in the top of the 7th. Rich Harden pitched amazing for the A's. 6 IP, 1 ER, 7K.
