New to hydroponics...
Hey everyone. Ive been reading alot of information on nutrients in the hydro system. I started with a wick system and 5 plants. Then about a 2 weeks into veg growth i transplanted them into my ebb/flow system. Both systems were a vermiculite perlite mix. When i did i switched from my tap water (ph ~7.8) to distilled water with 1/3 nuet solution. Two of the smaller plants started to shrivel up and are just about dead. The temp was very hott in the closet at this time also. The other three lost a little color on the lowest leaves. I changed back to tap water and then the three started to get really yellow leaves. I figure its a nutrient thing. Nitrogen difficency? The heat problem is now fixed. Could that have burned the smaller ones? I don't want to have to start over! Any help would be appreciated.
